Articulation Test Center Pro is an assessment tool developed by certified Speech-Language Pathologists to evaluate the speech development of English-speaking individuals of all ages, from 2 years old to adults.

This app serves as both an informal assessment and a progress monitoring measure for speech development. It has been designed to supplement standardized tests.

Articulation Test Center Pro offers flexibility to speech pathologists by allowing them to test specific areas of speech. The results include speech sound norms, intelligibility measures, and information on the age at which phonological processes are typically eliminated. All research references are cited within the app's results section and in the generated email.

There are two main tests within Articulation Test Center Pro: the 'Screener' and the 'Full Test'.

The 'Screener' is a useful tool for quickly screening a student's articulation skills based on age. Only age-appropriate sounds will be presented for testing, which helps save time. The number of stimulus images in the screener is also age-appropriate.

The 'Full Test' provides flexibility by allowing the tester to assess proficiency in various aspects of articulation and phonology. Test options include initial sounds, medial sounds, final sounds, initial blends, R sounds, vowels, and creating a speech sample. It is possible to test any combination of these options or test them all at once.

Additionally, the app allows users to make and save audio recordings, take notes, add language prompts to facilitate conversation, rate intelligibility, create student profiles, view all tested words, listen to previously made recordings, review sounds in error by age of development, review substitutions made, review marked phonological processes and distortions, listen to and transcribe speech samples, and review a written summary of results. Users can also add their own conclusions and recommendations based on age and generate reports via email.

Articulation Test Center Pro not only helps identify articulation delays but also supports goal writing. The illustrated speech scenes can also be used to collect fluency and language samples.
